Autumn 2015

Well into Autumn and with Winter snapping at our heels, it’s time to go birding again. I will miss the butterflies and dragonflies, but lots to look forward to … hoping for lots of fieldfares and redwings this year (not to mention a few flocks of waxwings). One can but hope.

From the top: a Mining Bee and a Wood Sandpiper, both at Frampton Marsh, and a late Speckled Wood on blackberries at Rutland Water.
