End of June 2016

Well, the early promise of a blazing June fizzled out miserably and we have had days and days of rain, grey skies and blustery winds. Butterflies are notable by their absence, unfortunately, so here are a few bugs from recent days. From the top: male banded demoiselle, black-headed cardinal beetle, rhogogaster viridis, green flower bug, harlequin ladybird and nemophora degeerella.banded-demoiselleblack-headed-cardinal-beetlegreen-flower-bugharlequin-ladybirdgreen-bugnephora-degeerella
