I read a lot of books in 2020, probably more than I would have done had Covid-19 not reared its ugly head. I’m very bad at logging books with Goodreads so I don’t know the exact number but estimate it to be around 150 – 170. As a newish member of Netgalley, there are about another dozen to add to that. Anyway, to cut my maundering short, here are twelve of the books that stuck in my mind. They’re all well worth a read, in my opinion.
Michael Connolly, The Law of Innocence
Russ Thomas, Firewatching
Ann Cleeves, The Darkest Evening
Robert Galbraith, Troubled Blood
James Lee Burke, A Private Cathedral
Alex North, The Shadows
Catherine Burns, The Visitors
JD Barker, She has a Broken Thing Where Her Heart Should Be
Lynda la Plante, Buried
Steph Cha, Beware, Beware
MW Craven, The Curator
Gregg Hurwitz, Into the Fire
The only one of those 12 Ive read is the Galbraith one…… I might look at some of the others on your list. Great idea – like you, I’m an avid reader.
